csstitch: fast image stitching for known position images Basically, builds a row/col map and only finds control points to neighbors This signfigantly reduces the control point space and ensures control points have a bounded error Additionally, since pattern should roughly line up between images, statistical methods determine if any control points were poorly generated Original code written by Christian Sattler <sattler.christian@gmail.com> Some modifications by John McMaster <JohnDMcMaster@gmail.com> See COPYING for license details. $ROOT refers to the dir in which this file is in Prerequisites I'm not a Java guy, so this might be able to be streamlined better. -ant (or patience...) -Java 1.5+ (for generics) -Might need to set classpath to one of: -$ROOT/build/classes -$ROOT/build/jar/csstitch.jar Building ant compile ant jar Running Use one of the following as the base command (call it csstitch), dependong on how you set CLASSPATH: ant run java -jar build/jar/csstitch.jar java hm.Autopano You need a directory structure like this: project_dir data image1 image2 ... project_dir will be populated with generated files. If additional dirs are given, they will be used for images, but output files will go in project_dir Images need to be arranged as if the origin is in the upper left hand corner of the full image X/column should be first, then Y/row. Example: c0_r0.jpg c0_r1.jpg c1_r0.jpg c1_r1.jpg Will be arranged as follows: c0_r0 c1_r0 c0_r1 c1_r1 Ready to roll. Execute something like this: csstitch project_dir Where "project_dir" contains a directory with images called "data" You should see various status screens fly by Limitations -Does not do photometric optimization I think intermediate project file is saved? You can use that as baseline
