to build:
    ./build.sh

to run:
    ./run_simulator.sh tests/os.mips

to run the debugger:
    ./run_debugger.sh tests/os.mips --no-run

some useful debugger commands:
    s, step: steps one machine instruction
    go: runs from that point onward
    b, break: displays or sets breakpoints at line numbers or addresses
    <just pressing enter>: runs the last command again
    for the complete list of commands, see Debugger.java
