Claros was a full-featured enterprise web collaboration suite with many unique features at that time. For example it was the first open source collaboration suite which featured built in spam protected webmail and instant messaging capabilities together with web 2.0 technologies.

Claros inTouch featured an instant messenger (supporting Jabber, MSN, Gtalk, and Yahoo! IM), online file storage, a modern webmail suite, a group calendar, post-it notes, RSS reader, contacts and many other modules.
