1.) Download and install the latest version of Java SE Development Kit 8 http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk8-downloads-2133151.html
- Remember to Accept the License Agreement and select the JDK according to your computer specs.
2.) Download and install the latest version of Eclipse IDE http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/packages/eclipse-ide-java-developers/mars2
- Download links on the right side of the page
- When you open Eclipse make sure you accept the default location of your workspace
3.) Download and install Git https://git-scm.com/downloads ** IMPORTANT: During the installation process you want to select the following configuration:
- On the step "Adjusting your PATH environment" you want to select the "Use Git for Windows Command Prompt"
4.) For Eclipse make sure you have both the Gradle plugin and egit plugin installed. Install them through the Eclipse MarketPlace under help.
5.) Switch your perspective in the upper right to git and clone the repository to your computer. Make sure to import the repository to your workspace.
6.) Right click the project you just imported. Goto (Gradle (STS) -> Refresh All) Click Refresh All.
7.) Make sure you pull before you push to repository if you wish to commit changes.
8.) Try to keep things organized :)
